Church Doctor Ministries (CDM) is a non-profit, 501c3 ministry group comprised of certified and trained consultants and coaches with various backgrounds in ministry, organization development, and leadership. We are the largest church consulting ministry in the world, as measured by size of staff, depth of experience, volume of church consultations, number of consultation services, and breadth of denominational and nondenominational experience in a wide variety of traditions.
Our passion is the local church. Our mission is to help the local church become more effective at reaching more people for Christ.
The consultation intervention ministry of CDM brings an expert alongside the pastor, staff, and leaders to bring about transformational change. The result is not just a report with recommendations, but a relationship. We are not interested in telling you about the next great program, but guiding you through a process uniquely designed for your church.
The Church Doctor approach:
Diagnosis: recognizes the unique culture and ethos of each church.
Prognosis: provides best-practice scenarios by which the consultant interfaces with
church leaders in a process of discerning God’s will for your church.
Prescription: recommendations that fit you and your church.
When you partner with CDM we help your church develop Action Plans to address the
many recommendations we make for more effective ministry. We know Action Plans
provide results. Our research shows that 90% of the churches we help implement at least
90% of the recommendations we make.
This action bias leads to results in every area of church life. Evaluations from pastors of
churches that CDM consults, on a 10-point scale (1 equals poor, 10 equals great),
consistently fall in the 8, 9, and 10 categories.
