Those disciples saw cripples healed, water become wine, a storm calmed—and Jesus walking on the water! A great missionary at church can tell an amazing story about ministry in faraway places. And it moves us. Yet, if we experience God at work firsthand, it transforms us. Ask any Christian who has been on a short-term mission excursion—they will talk about how they were spiritually impacted in a powerful way.
