The military platoon had been engaged in battle for three weeks, day and night. Finally, the battle paused, and the enemy was quiet. The colonel took the opportunity to thank the weary troops: “Men, you have done a great job to diminish the enemy. The war isn’t over, but it looks like we have a pause. Your uniforms reflect your unrelenting battle. I have good news for you.”
One of the men yelled, “Tell us the good news!”
The colonel responded, “Men, tonight you finally get to change clothes.” The soldiers cheered!
The colonel continued, “Bob, you change with Frank. Sam, you change with Fred….”
