Have you discovered the divine design for your destiny? It doesn’t matter if you are a teenager or a retiree. Your age doesn’t define your value. Nor does your occupation, wealth, beauty, or accomplishments. As valuable as these attributes might be, you are a precious and significant being, uniquely loved by your Creator.
You possess incredible power by the grace of God. You are a person who can make an eternal difference among those touched by your life. You impact others in ways that are often impossible to calculate. And your words are more important than you might ever realize.
When you focus on a life of significance, you discover that the success for which you are grateful is eclipsed by your impact on those you encounter every day. It is a unique privilege your Creator has bestowed on you and on every human being.
Whether you attend church regularly or not, you are a minister. As you interact with others, you influence them. Sometimes, the influence of significance is positive. Occasionally, it is negative.
Sometimes we forget the power we have for good or for bad. We can be grateful for the good and disciplined to avoid the bad. Do you pray and give thanks for the privilege of ministry to others? You may not be an ordained “preacher,” but your “ministry” of significance is powerful!
