To get things done, you usually block out time.  You do it for the dentist.  You do it for your favorite television shows.  You do it to read the paper.  But do you do it for your spiritual growth?  If not, you’re in need of what I call POW—Personal Opportunities to Worship.  Believe it or not, they’re everywhere.

Here’s my prescription: Deliberately block out time to spend with God.  Set aside personal worship time every day.  Make it a holy habit.  You can pray, silently, in an elevator.  You can worship in your car.  You can read the Bible on your lunch hour.  Put worship in your life and you’ll live a life of worship—a powerful one!

An Apple a Day, Kent R. Hunter

How and when will you spend time today with God?
