What do you do with the couple that comes into the church office and says, “We’ve been living together for two years. Will you marry us?” Or the gay person? Or the black kids who enter church and wear their hats during worship service? Are they causing offense? An offense is an issue of the heart, which you can’t see. So be careful about your judgments. (Luke 12:10).
