For those of us who follow Jesus, Christmas is more than a holiday. It is a celebration of an act of God. He reveals Himself in flesh and blood. The Savior is real!

The wisemen showed up to provide gifts—as most Christians still do at Christmas. So do many non-Christians. Christmas is more than a holiday. It is a mission opportunity. Many unbelievers are more receptive. Whether they recognize the spiritual meaning or not, that receptivity is our opportunity to invite our neighbors, coworkers, relatives, and friends to join us for worship. Some might say yes, while others may show little interest. Yet, the invitation plants a seed. It may not sprout for years.

Just because your unchurched friend shows no sign of interest—even at Christmas—that may change. The challenges of life and the realities of death impact receptivity.

Those of us at Church Doctor Ministries have spent decades in the study of spiritual receptivity. The impact of this ministry has influenced Christians in many places around the world. Beyond North America, we have had the privilege to equip Christians in many countries, like England, Ukraine, Russia, South Africa, Nigeria, India, Belize, Brazil, Japan, and more. And, of course, Christians in hundreds of churches in the United States and Canada.

Yet, this is not just about those of us at Church Doctor Ministries. It’s about you—thousands of Christians like you: those who pray, encourage, provide financial support, and encourage this work in various ways.

You are a gift to this ministry. We thank God and celebrate the hundreds of prayer partners and donors—like you¾who are a vital part of this ministry. You are a gift to the cause of Jesus—the one born at that first Christmas. You make a difference. We make a difference. God uses all of us to impact Christians and churches to effectively touch hundreds of people—likely thousands. As we gather to celebrate the birth of Jesus, we praise God for you!

Have a great, wonderful Christmas!
