Dr. Tracee J. Swank
Leader, Consultant and Leadership Coach

Dr. Tracee J. Swank serves as the leader of Church Doctor Ministries. As a certified church consultant, Christian leadership coach, Building a StoryBrand Guide, and Business Made Simple Coach, Tracee serves as a strategic guide and coach for pastors, ministry leaders, and Christian entrepreneurs. Tracee is committed to helping others carry out their vision and mission in the Kingdom using the gifts, skills, and resources God has provided.
Tracee enjoys helping others discover and implement creative new ideas for Kingdom projects, speaking at conferences and gatherings, and leading ministry immersion trips with Christian leaders. Tracee currently helps lead a microchurch plant and works with local marketplace Christians on community development projects. She lives in northwest Ohio with her husband, Matt, and their black
Lab, Beckett.
Tracee is a graduate of Winebrenner Theological Seminary in Findlay, Ohio, and holds a master’s degree in theological studies and a Doctor of Ministry degree in Kingdom entrepreneurship. While not traveling and serving the ministry, Tracee enjoys gardening, cooking, watching Toledo Mud Hens baseball, and all things related to the Ohio State University. (Go Bucks!)

Kent R. Hunter

Kent R. Hunter is the founder of Church Doctor Ministries. He believes that God has called him to help Christians and their churches become more effective for the Great Commission, to reach unbelievers and to make them disciples of Jesus Christ. Dr. Hunter is the author of 32 books. He has consulted more than 1,700 churches from 78 denominations, as well as nondenominational and independent churches. He developed the SEND Movement, which trains congregational members to become missionaries to those who are unchurched in their social networks. Kent writes the bimonthly Church Doctor Report and also has a podcast, Prescriptions from a Church Doctor, both found on www.churchdoctor.org.
Kent lives on a tree farm in northeast Indiana with his wife, Janet. Kent and Janet have two grown children, Laura and Jon.

Dr. Christine A. Timm

Chrysanne lives in Sylvania with her husband, Craig. They have one daughter, Holly, and two sons, Matthew and Brian. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with family and friends, reading, knitting, antique shopping, boating, and Taekwon-Do (she is a first-degree Black Belt).

Dr. Barry Kolb

- A field consultant for Church Doctor Ministries
- Workshop teacher for inmate pastors for 13 years at the largest maximum security prison in America, Louisiana State Prison in Angola, LA, using Crossways materials (Biblical Timeline, See Through the Scriptures, Divine Drama, and various short courses).
- Vice President of Christ for India (org). He has led pastor’s conferences, taught seminary courses, and preached extensively in India on many occasions.
- President of India Missions Foundation.
Barry and his wife Nancy have two grown children: Eric (Sheryl) & Terri and one grandson: Joshua (Kristina) all who live the Dallas/Ft Worth area. His personal mission statement is: See the VISION…Live the MISSION…Feel the PASSION. Barry’s life verse is: Proverbs 3:5-6.

Tom has over 30 years of experience in ministry. Over that time, discipleship and leadership development have been a hallmark of his ministry. He has had the privilege of mentoring dozens of lay and professional church leaders over the years. He has also led churches through nearly every significant transition including birth, redevelopment, and merger.nced settings.

Todd Stocker

For the past 20 years, Todd has begun, developed, and led church organizations ranging in size for a few dozen to a few thousand. He continues to provide coaching for business and ministry leaders and most recently led a six-month cohort of new pastors who’d just graduated from the seminary. He excels in keynote speaking, mission/vision formation, and strategic planning with a focus toward discipleship and multiplication.

Chelsey Genszler
Designer/Creative Guide

Chelsey currently serves as the Creative Guide for Church Doctor. She was called to the team in 2018 after completing 10 months of the SEND Movement discipleship training. Through Church Doctor, she has had the opportunity to travel to England, South Africa, Colorado, Washington, Arkansas, Arizona, and around the Midwest for mission trips, immersion excursions, and conferences. She feels truly blessed to be a part of the CDM team.
Chelsey is married to Matt, who also serves on the CDM team. They live in Alexandria, Minnesota, and enjoy being surrounded by so many beautiful lakes and trails. Chelsey and Matt spend their free time adventuring to new places, hanging out with Chelsey’s family, and making new friends.

Jason Atkinson

In his spare time, he is an active member and serves on a worship team at his church, St. Joseph UMC, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. In addition to that, he enjoys reading legal thrillers, hiking, traveling, and enjoys spending time with his family. Jason has been married to his wife Laura since 2004 and they have two daughters.

Matt Genszler

Matt Genszler has served the Church Doctor Ministries Team in the role of Marketing and Analytics since fall of 2017. He has assisted the team on trips around the US, to England, and to South Africa. He serves the team remotely from Alexandria, MN since he moved there to marry his lovely wife Chelsey in summer of 2020.

Beth Knoll

Beth Knoll began contributing to the Church Doctor Ministries team in June 2004 as a proofreader and now also serves on the social media team. She grew up in the United Brethren denomination and attends a Brethren in Christ church where her family has attended for six generations. Beth discovered her passion for church health before she even knew Church Doctor Ministries existed.
After earning an English degree from Huntington College (now Huntington University), Beth spent nearly a decade in reporter and editorial roles at newspapers in Indiana and Pennsylvania. She enjoys reading nonfiction, gardening, canning, crocheting, and sewing. Beth has played the piano in churches and at home for more than 30 years and currently serves her church worship teams on keyboard. She and her husband, Chris, homeschool their three children in rural Orrstown, Pennsylvania.

John Wargowsky
Marketing Team

John Wargowsky serves on the Marketing Team for Church Doctor Ministries and SEND North America and lives in Delaware, Ohio. He attends the Vineyard Church of Delaware County. He has served in Prison Outreach Ministries in multiple Ohio prisons.
John manages a self-storage and truck rental business. He has called square dances and led line, round, folk, and novelty dances for 40years. He was born and reared on the family farm in north central Ohio with 30 years of experience in agricultural associations.

Dr. Katie Erickson

Katie Erickson joined Church Doctor Ministries at the beginning of 2021 as the Special Projects Team Leader. Prior to this, she worked for almost 17 years as an electrical engineer. Katie earned her Masters of Divinity degree in 2010 and her Doctor of Ministry degree in 2023 from Winebrenner Theological Seminary. Katie also serves a few other ministries through writing weekly blog posts, radio appearances, speaking engagements, video editing, podcast publishing, and book publishing.
She has a passion for teaching and tutoring, especially the Biblical Hebrew language. She enjoys spending time helping authors publish their books with her editing and graphic design skills, and you can often find her crocheting and knitting in her free time. She lives in northwest Ohio with her husband, her best friend, and a variety of pets.
