Join the 28:19 Challenge and Help Us Refocus Churches on the Great Commission!
As we navigate through the pandemic recovery, politics, and pop culture, it’s easy to get distracted and lose sight of the mission that Jesus left to all of us: the Great Commission. Unfortunately, this distraction is affecting pastors, church leadership teams, and members, causing burnout rates among pastors and church staff to rise and pastors to leave full-time ministry at alarming rates. Furthermore, the leadership multiplication gap in churches continues to deepen.
At Church Doctor Ministries, we believe it doesn’t have to be this way. As coaches, consultants, and guides serving churches and pastors for over 40 years, we’re launching the 28:19 Challenge. We invite you to join us as we help churches refocus on discipleship, spiritual formation, and leadership development.
Our mission is to help churches get refocused on the Great Commission: to go, make disciples, and baptize and teach them. We need your help because we cannot do this alone.
The changing financial landscape, rising costs, and slower-than-normal responses and decision-making from churches considering working with us have put us in a challenging financial season. But we know God wants us to carry on.
We need Christians who are serious about seeing the Great Commission carried out in every church to help us keep doing what we do best: teach churches how to move from surviving to thriving.
We’re challenging everyone in our network to do two things:
- Pray every single day for Christians to refocus their thoughts and actions on the Great Commission.
- Commit financially to giving $28.19 monthly for the next 12 months to Church Doctor Ministries.
Why $28.19? Because we want your financial gift to us to be an ongoing reminder of our mission to help churches effectively carry out the Great Commission as stated in Matthew 28:19. We hope that as you see your financial statements and giving receipts with the line item each month in the amount of $28.19, you’ll be reminded of how your gift is helping our ministry help churches focus on the Great Commission.
