Josh Humberger, Leader, Servants Equipping New Disciples, (SEND)
Joshua Humberger is from Toledo, Ohio. A former radio DJ and professional actor for over 15 years, he has now found his new “stage” – a stage that will be on a grander scale: his passion for fulfilling the Great Commission. Josh has been quite busy over the last few years with Threshold Church. He has run the mid-sized missional community called “11-7”: a callout group that has fed and served tens of thousands of people from many backgrounds and has received a national award from AOL’s “The Nice One Program.” Every month this group is out in the world to fellowship and “Pay It Forward” to the community, showing God’s love.
Along with serving in drama, creative arts, writing ministries, and lay leader positions, Josh has experienced church all over the U.S. His ministry motto is “Live Your Faith,” so he is “beyond excited” for this call to lead SEND North America. After returning from Sheffield, England, last June, he has been inspired to work in ministry full-time with young adults, specifically in the area of mission. Josh is happily married to his wife Samantha, and just had their first boy, Caleb this April! In his free time he loves to read, watch films, follow Ohio State Buckeye football, auto racing, and attend concerts.
