Dr. Barry L. Kolb is Pastor of First Lutheran Church in Texarkana, Texas. He has earned a Masters in Education, a Masters of Divinity, a Masters in Business Administration, and a Doctor of Ministry degree. He is an ordained minister of the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod. Prior to entering the pastoral ministry, he served in leadership capacities as a teacher and educational missionary in Indiana, Illinois, Washington, and Hong Kong . Dr. Kolb has also taught church growth principles in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Russia, Kazakhstan, South Africa, Nigeria, India, Jamaica, and Brazil.
Barry is a member of the boards for Koinonia House National Ministries and Christ for India. His personal mission statement is: See the VISION…Live the MISSION…FEEL the PASSION.
Barry and his wife, Nancy, have two grown children and one grandson.
